Internal Audit Department

The Internal Audit Department provides the Board of Trustees, Superintendent, and management of ECISD with independent analysis, evaluations, and recommendations on the adequacy and effectiveness of the District's systems of internal control. Our goals are to ensure that operations run in accordance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures, that assets are properly safeguarded, and that financial transactions are appropriately recorded. We accomplish this by providing management with observations and recommendations that will improve operations and strengthen internal controls.

 

The department conducts over 120 audits per school year and provides support to over 70 booster clubs and parent organizations. The Audit Department is committed to transparency and the safeguard of our District and student funds.
