Professional Learning Department

The Professional Learning Department’s Vision is that all employees will have quality learning during their career and tenure in Edinburg CISD.  Our department falls under the Informational Technology Division, and we are committed to quality professional learning in a blended setting, as we develop engaging opportunities for our employees in person-to-person interaction and hi-tech infused formats.

Our WORK

Our motto, “Learning is for Life”, is what we believe every day.  We want everyone to think of our office as a great resource for all professional development needs.  We will be courteous, respectful and kind, and to the best of our ability, we will assist all employees with their professional development needs, as well as provide curriculum, knowledge and skills for the betterment of learning for all employees.

 

The ECISD Professional Learning Department- works to ensure quality professional development and learning for all ECISD employees by:

  • Providing quality professional learning resources to all employees.
  •  Coordinating The INSPIRE New Teacher and mentoring Induction Program.
  •  Maintaining district-wide professional learning records and transcripts
  •  Assisting with all professional learning within the various academic subject areas, district departments, and schools.

 

The ECISD Professional Learning Department works to ensure quality professional development and learning for all ECISD employees, while supporting the district’s  Mission and Vision by:

  • Providing quality resources to all ECISD employees.
  • Assisting with all professional learning including within the various academic subject areas, district departments, and schools.
  • Developing new professional learning curriculum for all ECISD staff
